i'm about to purchase the power supply with the "daisy chain" linking up other pedals from my NS-2 and i was wondering if anyone new if a chain with more than five outputs was available as i use eight Boss pedals. i already have an eight output Sound Lab power bank but it's quite big and i could use the space better |

| Some daisy chains are made so a new chain can be plugged into the first one doubling its size. I think Ibanez daisy chains are like that. |

| so are the Visual Sound Onespot daisy chain (just as long as the amount of pedals you are using doesn't exceed a power drain of 1400mA). |

the dancing banana doesn't quite do justice to how happy i am right now
that's better the guys at http://www.bonnersmusic.co.uk have totally sorted me out i wasn't sure about the 8 outputs due to the diference in current between the U.S and the U.K but these dudes stock the thing, i'm on my way to pick it up now
thanks again |

Just make sure you don't exceed the adapter's capacity - as long as the total combined current draw of the pedals are lower than what the adapter can provide, you can power as many pedals as you like.
The PSA adapter can provide 200mA max, and I'd probably want to stay below 180mA to prolong the adapter's life (after all, an engine that's run at full throttle all the time will die faster than one that's run at 80%).
To check how much current your pedals draw, go here, click the "power list" and find the "Boss" link.

Good reference list you got there, Andreas. Very useful link. I noticed the list still has a few question marks. The current draw stated in the manual can be found on the pages here on bossarea. |

Ah... the list on the redesigned site (which hasn't been uploaded yet) doesn't have any question marks in the compact pedal section. It seems that since I started work on the redesign/relocation, I've let the updating of the old site slide a bit...
The new site will be up shortly - as soon as I've sorted out my internet access at home. The new URL will be www.stinkfoot.se/andreas with the URL straight to the power list page being www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/power/list.htm

Cool, I'll add it to my favorites.
I know all about letting the updates slide a bit. |
