I play classic rock, blues and some metal. I replaced my MetalZone with the metalcore. I use and OD-1 or SD-1 for blues and classic stuff and will use the metalcore for the heavier stuff we do. It is aimed mostly at metal and doesn't clean up too much even with the distortion turned way down.
Slightly off topic. I didn't feel this forum needs ANOTHER thread about the new pedals.
Are these shipping yet?
I was in a store today which is the general Roland (and Boss) distributor for my country. They told me that the new pedals won't arrive until June. True or false?
It's different from country to country. In Japan they were available from mid February, USA a few weeks later while the European countries is a bit up and down whether they're available or not. My theory is that they're shipped from Japan by camel caravan so it depends what route the caravan is choosing. June might just be true.

My bet they stopped somewhere in Kazakhstan to refill their water supply.
