i think its just the way it looks in the photo. the BD-2 on the archives of this website looks very dark blue but mine is much lighter. the MD-2 tends to do this too. some photos it looks red and some orange.

It means the digital camera that took the picture is low on Cyan...

The joke means there's not enough Blue Toner/Ink inside the camera...
