What's the first album you ever bought?
Mine was the cassette version of Guns N Roses - Use your illusion 1 along with Prince's Batman soundtrack, needless to say I listened to prince once or twice and I had to replace the Guns cassette a few years later because I'd worn it out This was back in '92 or so. Actually I got into GN'R because I really liked their You could be mine video for the Terminator 2 movie. |

I was just thinking the same thing. These days you can't turn on MTV without watching another rapper and his bitches wiping the inside of the screen with their asses. They come crawling out of some f@#king backalley, record some dumb raptune which turns gold and platinum within a month, and before they know it, they own several houses, cars and loads of money within a year...
Where are the days that bands had to fight their way through lousy bars, sending demos to recordlabels etc. before being lucky to being picked up by some hip DJ on a desert island radio station?
And I wasn't even talking about music quality yet.... Sorry for the rant, I just had to |
