Hey Witloof, have you ever compared this (is it a V847A?) to a CryBaby? Just wondering what you think...

I lurve me a TW-1. Optical roundness gets me every time.
Also... DC-2. Stereo isn't the same ever since I got one. |

Never saw that one before!
Tech 21 stuff always seems good. I binned my Double Drive from my board purely because it sounded better with my Strat than my 345. The 345 is clearly my main guitar now. Might need to build a seperate strat board! |

Hi rockstarforce007 Welcome to the forum from Australia.
Do you mean you couldn't locate the CE-2 page, in the Compact Pedals directory, on the non-forum section of bossarea?
Here are some links to look at & try: http://www.bossarea.com/ The CE-2 page in Compact Pedals: http://www.bossarea.com/loadpage.asp?file=boxes/ce2.xml
You will also find some internal pictures of CE-2's & many other Boss pedals, in the "Internal Pictures of Boss & Other pedals" Thread in the forum.
INDEX - Internal Pictures of Boss & Other pedals: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4349
Internal Pictures of Boss & Other pedals: http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4147 Try pages - 2 - 7 - 19 for the CE-2 and page 20 for the TonePad clone of the CE-2.

Yes, I did. I found the CryBaby's being to sharp & hollow. Many have complains about the V847A, but mine sounds great. It sounds very Hendrixesque.

I've been thinking about building 2 boards too. Somehow, effects sound different when using single coils or humbuckers. |

I understand. With my LP, it works like a charm. |

Either...
 ...or...
Fab Tone has the best high-gain distortion I have ever heard, and the RV-5 has the most gorgeous Hall reverb I have ever heard. |

It's my main distortion, along with the LS-2 boost. |

I'll be honest its the only Danelectro pedal I've ever played/owned. I like the octave feature but it really is way to trebbly for me |
