My dads freind is offering me a whole bunch of effects from his attic that he hasnt used in years. while i was in boston a bag that had 5 pedals got stolen at a music store called daddys needless to say the store thought they werent envolved when they had somebody looking after every bag in the front of the store WTF
anyway my ds-1,dd-7,cs-1,death metal,and small clone were the ones that were stolen alone with 4 pedal cables and a guitar chord but luckly i replaced them with the same stuff stolen after i told guitar center a sob story about my gear being stolen. Some of those I had to buy off ebay
but my dads friend found out about it and felt bad for me so hes clearing out his attic and giving me all hie old pedals from the 70's
I dont know which ones yet I wont get um till next tuesday
It must be devestating having your gear stolen like that. Hope your attic-treasure turns out to be good stuff. We want pictures as soon as you get them
might be a silver lining here.... some of that old 70's stuff is the mutts nuts.... maybe a original big muff/ phase 90 etc..... sorry to here about your bag,i had a rack stolen on me about 12 years ago and it's kick in the teeth,but it turned me back onto pedals which led me to Boss/Roland stuff... i got the same guff of a guy in a shop in dublin who wanted me to leave my '89 U.S.A. strat beside the door before i could look around the shop,that sort of bad salesmanship and the outragous prices were the main reasons i started shopping on the net.........
He really must be a good friend of you dad.... those mutron effects are very collectable and are pretty expensive if i'm not mistaken....they also are supposed to sound great...i wouldn't be leaving them lying around in guitar shops........... who knows what other goodies he might have in his attic........
