I got inspiration for this thread in another area of this Forum
Heres the Idea:
Get real world people to chime in with there suggestions on how YOU use your Boss pedals. Settings and so on.
Original artists might srtuggle a bit here.
Basically what I'm hoping to start here is something along the lines of...
"When I try to get a tone like that of the start of U2's Beautiful Day my delay pedal will look something like
Level-3 Feedback-6 D.Time-6 Mode-200ms
Choose your favourite song and give it a go.
Hopefully new people (like me) who may not neccassarily post a thank you but your contribution to a library of knowledge... immeasurable.
Problem for most people who come accross new pedals in often you have no idea how to use them. You need a starting point in which to develop from. An example of this is some of the Boss refernce books. "To attain an seventies surf tone do this....." but with nothing to reference this to you, your left out in the cold. I havent a clue what surf tone is. Name a recordng, give me an example.
Anyway, just an Idea hopefully it catches on
