As far as I can tell, the 62 reissue was made in the late 80s, maybe the early 90s. Later, the neck was slimmed to make it a 61 reissue.

A 62RI is a rare find these days...

many years ago, I bought myself a bolt-neck Epiphone SG copy for my (24th?) birthday... not nearly as nice as yours, but my other gift to myself that day (a fifth of Bacardi white rum) made up for it, at least for a while.
