BF-2 MIJ is great, isn't it?

I hope that your CE-5 is analog. You should really try a good ol' CE-2 or CE-3 if you ever get the chance.

I always reccomend an EQ or two. Then again it looks like you might have some multi-effect units, maybe those have EQ stuff on them. If you do acquire a GE-7 and you find it noisy I can modify it for lower noise if you like (I don't charge much, I just like doing it). What do you use to get your overdrive/distortion if your OD-2 is not in the path?

What is an EV-5?

Hey guys..............thanks much
I really have been using BOSS pedals for years

All my old pedals are from early 80'
BF-2, DD-2, NF-1, TW-1 all MIJ

OD-2 mid 90s PH-3 2003, RV-5 2004, and CE-5 a week old

I also have a BOSS 12 Band Graphic EQ eairly 80s

I had an original MIJ OD-1 was the 1st BOSS prdal I ever owned
I lent it to a friend back in the early 90s and havn't seen it since
As far as ODs right now I'm using the Digitech X-series pedals. They are on the NF-2 Loop
In the future I may be picking up a GE-7

CE-5 is most likely digital. I would like to compare it to my analog CE-2.

Does the Boss 12-band EQ have a switch on it, or is it constant?

It has a switch on it
Also a foot switch for playing live
back in the 80s my board was:

BOSS Tuner>NF-1>Craby Wah>MXR Phase 90>OD-1>MXR 2000 Stereo Chorus>BF-2>DD-2>

Don't remember where the BOSS 12 Band EQ was in the chain
