Does anyone know of a decent place to get silver core wiring? I am looking for a somewhat reasonable price if possible, otherwise I can wait for a rock and gem show and buy it there...
I am using this for a true bypass (my first pedal experiment), and believe this is the correct wiring with least capacitance in it... for jack wiring when 3pdt switches are not on (I am using LEDs).
Is there another more common (less expensive) wiring that can be used and still generate a nice clean signal when running the bypass?
Also looking for info on installing a power supply as I have never done this before? I want to run an AC, but will this create noise? Should I only be doing a 9V (I would hate to disconnect constantly do to battery drain).
Capacitance is not really a factor with hookup wire - there's no ground wire/shield around the "hot" to form a capacitor. Just use regular 22-24 AWG wire, tin the wire properly to get a good solder joint, and you should be fine.
