It's time... remains just few days and the result of 30 months of hard job will be bring to the stage...
... I'm full of adrenalin from head to heels: I'm the manager, the arranger, the song teacher... what else? I also play the villain role too...
This "creature" (Orfeo9) remained to sleep for more of 38 years, with the only exception of the record version (1973), it's raising and mine it's the responsibility. There are entire generations growth with this Rock Opera that are waiting this moment all around Italy.
Why the world of the art it's so good/bad? I know, I know, I will scary until the moment that I'll walk the stage and begin to sing and then all things will pass... but at the moment I'm almost mad.
Orfeo9 it's a modern version of Orpheus and Eurydice's myth, where Orpheus tryin' to save Eurydice from the coils of the drug, but it will die too. All conceived by a bad demon (the snake of the myth) called "Happiness saler".

Sure... some days ago I went to see a concert of one of my old group (a KISS tribute) and when they appeared on the stage there were dozens of cameras, videos, cellular phones... painter... 
This Opera it's very long awaited in almost 40 years and people love it like a cult as Rocky Horror Show or Jesus Christ Superstar...
In addition we have a pair of friends with video cameras and also the concert place has their cameras and audio operators. "Stazione Birra" (trsl.: Beer Station) it's one of the best in Italy and in Europe too, just visit their official site to see the good artists go to play there.
I suggest you to visit our media section too, you can see me in Happines Saler (or Vendor or Snake... as you wish) costume! |

Yes, it's me.
That makeup it doesn't fit well 'cause the pencil it was too bold and don't sign over the green, so I've painted all the scales one by one with the brush, also I've forgot the black lipstick and nailpaint at home both with skulls' necklace... I'm aging... 
But the result isn't so bad, this is the video (it needs Macromedia Flash) that will be transmitted in the end of the first act when I've kidnapped Eurydice and invite Orpheus to follow me (in fact I say: "Seguimi!" that means "Follow me!") in the Hell City where's Eurydice and when Orhpeus will die. Not too much far from me in the video you can see the hitchhikers that Orpheus will meet during is journey in the second act.
Not too bad, uh? |

We are translating in spanish (a language very near to italian 'cause it became from latin too), but at the moment isn't easy translating in english: metrics, meanings, rhymes will be lost in traslations. Or at least my english isn't so good to begin this real "odissey".
A good example: "It's now or never" a good song sung by Elvis Presley, in italian it's "O sole mio" ("Oh my sun") completely different meaning, good for a "pop" song, not the same for a conceptual opera.
Maybe one day. ;) |

Maybe we can help, just give us a sentence (or a verse) in italian and the meaning in english and we give you a complete sentence (or verse) with metric and rime and the right meaning.
It's worth a try, lots of english speaking people on the forum 
If we all do a song you have an english version in no time |
