I haven't been following Boss on eBay for a while (work in the auto industry in Detroit...on a bit of a budget), but happened to click on my saved searches and there was a minute and a half to go on this one so by the time I quickly scanned through to see if it was too good to be true it ended. How did this go so cheap? These still retail for $130 or so, right?
It's weird with these things... I picked up an FDR-1 (same series as the FBM-1) for $60 about 2 months ago - as new in box. The rest of the time they are going for $100 plus.
Wow, I'd like to have either one of them. Budget or not I'm renewing my eBay search e-mail notifications. Can't miss out on chances at deals like those.
That is surprisingly cheap. I usually only find deals like this if I browse completeted auctions. It's only a short time ago that I payed 3 times that price for mine.
These sell for heaps out here, I can't understand why? With our dollar being so strong?

Alas Dr. Bob, it wasn't I who got the bargain. I thought there was no way the bid was still so low on a functioning FBM-1 with just seconds to go, so,.. I spent just a little too long looking at the 'fine print' and by the time that it was obvious that this was a chance at a great deal... too late

I think that the only time that I was able to get deals like this was when I was completely caught up on every Boss pedal currently available and refreshing my browser every few minutes to get the 'buy it now' bargains. Guess I need to start that again... Damn the torpedoes (or deal with the spousal rage when the PayPal credit charges arrive.)
