There are a few members I haven't heard of for a long time.

What happened to 'm ?

For example Disco Stu got stuck at 200 posts. There are a few more who posted for a while and then disapeared.

Who are you missing ?

Maybe these people have more going on in their lives than we do..

I'd rather see a few meaningful posts instead of a plethora of mindless or redundant jabber.

Personally, I eschew obfuscation.

And I miss zentropa. I know he comes around occasionally, but he used to jab us technically with quite sharp questions

Still kicking around but maybe they are too busy playing with their pedals to post!

Maybe not too...

Estimable example of magniloquence there Laurie
...and I agree, obfuscation is so quotidian.

Bossfreak, he was as active as Dr Bob is now, in the first half year or so of the forum, then he disappeared.
Then he came back for a short while again. But he havent been seen for the last years.
Bossfreak had a great knowledge and was part of solving many of the questions regarding version differences in Boss pedals. He was also a quite famous bass player.

Hi again everyone..

It warms my heart to see that somebody actually noticed I was gone

I have been busy doing an IT project in China so I have spend some time in Shanghai and Beijing - A great and interesting country by the way.. Luckily I had some time for sightseeing while staying in Beijing.

So its been a long time not bying pedals and visiting Bossarea - so to compensate I just treated myself to a Roland Funny Cat, a Marshall Shredmaster and a Korg PMX-40 board - not too shabby for my first 14 days at home..

And you should expect more annoying/stupid questions from me and pathetic attemps on funny comments in the time to come

Glad to be back !

Cheers

interesting to see this thread - I come and go as the recurring itch with GAS comes and goes.

I bought a GT-8 in February and downloaded a few guides from http://www.bossgtcentral.com/(a site like this but dedicated to the GT mfxs) and my head is still hurting from that.

BUT, i have been stealthing around bossarea.com ... if I have nothing to say, I don't.

It's interesting to see the strange questions that people have about boss pedals, and oddly enough, there is usually an answer given, no matter how strange the questions!
