| I have a copy of the 2006 Vintage Guitar Price Guide that a coworker brought in and can price stuff if you post model numbers. Not every Boss model is in there (I couldn't find the PN-2 or PS-3 for example). I photocopied the Boss pages, so feel free to ask for pricing. |

Not looking for anything in particular but it would be interesting to know how they rate the high priced ones. VB-2, DM-2, DC-2 to mention a few.
Prepal has these at $198, $147 and $102 which is somewhat below what they've been going for on Ebay lately. |

I've never really trusted Prepal. It always seems a bit outdated. Here's some pricing for you. They list two prices -- low/high condition -- in US dollars.
VB-2: 375/425 (I had no idea these were worth that much. I think their prices are wrong on this one.) DM-2: 175/250 DC-2: 140/150 (I wish I could find one of these for $140!) |

It looks like they're a bit high on the VB-2, DM-2 is spot on and a little low on the DC-2 estimate. A lot of stores selling used gear will probably use that book so we might see the VB-2 going up now that they say it's worth at least $375. |

indytone, if you have time to look up a few more 'vintage' Boss pedals, for reference purposes, that'd be great... specifically, OD-1, SP-1, DM-3, PH-1, and maybe DC-3, DD-2, and PQ-4. could you also comment if they have 2 prices for old/new long-produced pedals (e.g., SD-1, DS-1, maybe BF-2)? thanks!

From what I've seen they just list the years of production, a pedal description, and price. Very few make a distinction between production years. Pretty basic. That said, here's some pricing:
OD-1: 100/175 (1977-1979); 75/150 (1980-1985) SP-1: 275/325 DM-3: 150/200 PH-1: 75/100 DC-3: 135/185 DD-2: 125/175 PQ-4: 50/75 (wow) SD-1: 50/90 (1981-89); 35/55 (1990-2002) DS-1: 55/65 (1978-1989); 35/55 (1990-1999); 25/30 (2000-2004) BF-2: 45/55
I think I'm just going to photocopy this stuff so I have it in case anyone else needs info. |

I bought one of these recently and monitored the prices on EBay for a while first. I found that the SE-50 usually goes for around $90-$130 while the SE-70 is about $180-$220.
The prices are based on Ebay UK observations and are converted from GBP. |
