Gads, I haven't posted here in almost 2 weeks. Anyway, spent 10 hours running around 3 counties today & picked up the following for my son:

1 pair Mackie MR5 monitors

On-Stage mic stand
A few sets of balanced cables, Hosa & Rapco

I'll give him my 2 extra Peavey mics & Samson 6 channel mixer. The mixer may have a bad output channel (Left) but we'll see tomorrow. If so, I'll probably get him a new Mackie 802VLZ3. The MR5s weren't supposed to hit the streets for another month or two so we got lucky when GC had 'em. Of course I didn't pay tax again.. they match Sweetwater.

It too wasn't supposed to be on the streets in force for a month or two so I got lucky again & took the only one they had. They had the Roland PDS-10 heavy-duty stand so I got that as well.

I ALMOST bought a GoldTone lap-steel guitar:

but the white Fender was just as good. I'll get that next time.. they'll probably be there.

My youngest son wants a guitar now & I'll probably get him an LTD we saw today but not for a few months.
