Nice CE-3 Missica.
CE-3's are great, even in mono and also with distortion.

You're absolutely right Dirk. I fell in love with it instantly. Some day I'll get my hands on a CE-2 and from what I hear it's even better.

Picked up a DS-2 today... drove down to the Coast and bought it from a youngster who was also selling his Marshall combo amp and Strat knockoff.

Just took the DS-2, one that I've never owned. Other than the torn closure grommet, it's cherry...

Not sure if I'll keep it though -- the "Turbo" distortion mode doesn't do a lot for me.

sorry for the blurry label pic -- reflective silver sticker.

So do I, but I haven't found one for a decent price enough to be bothered too much.

Got my DM3 Delay back from the shop, and it sounds great in stereo into a DD3
Love the sound of two delays in stereo

Got the idea from the first Boss pocket dictionary, showing andy summers setup.
DM3 into a DD3, the DD3 is stereo'd into two amps.
One amp gets the full DM3 sound, and the other gets the delay sound from the DD3.
Or you could simply add two delays after a stereo pedal, one for each output

Tried that one time with the DD-3 i even moved the dry output over beside the wet out to make it easier to run the cables tto the amps from the pedalboard and i also tried putting them off the stereo outs of CH-1 ..it's a very hard pedal to balance in stereo to two amps..much harder than a stereo chorus or reverb etc..when you turn on the DD-3 you get the impression of a volume drop even though it sounds great and if you turn up the amps to compensate when you switch it off the rest of the band look at you like you just dropped a turd.... i also tried using the two of them off the stereo out of the CH-1 with the DD-3'S set on long and short delay times..sounded really good except trying to turn both on/off was a hassle live ...i just use my two in mono these days sometimes cascading into each other for extra ambience...

This MIJ RV-2 came yesterday:

According to the serialdecoder it was produced August 1987.

Now I'm waiting for a ROD-10 to arrive. It will be my first of these microrack effects so please share your thoughts and experiences.

My guess is that you almost bought a vb-2 with box and manual but you let the deal slip and now you're aiming on a DD-7

Right and I'm devastated! That VB-2 was a beauty but I know my new DD-7 will soon make me forget her...

Good luck and happy hunting mate

You got some really great deals on those pedals. Cheers!

I'm an old pawnshop hound, and have bought most of my gear in those places. Usually, I can find pedals for less than half of what they cost new, and am always on the lookout for a bargain. Here's a breakdown of what I've paid for some of mine:

DS-1: 18$
BF-2: 39$ (green label, MIJ)
SD-1: 25$
NS-2: 25$
EH-2: 25$
GE-7: 25$
AW-3: 40$
MT-2: 39$

Really, it's just a matter of luck in my case. If I had paid retail, I don't think I could have ever afforded as much stuff as I have.

Happy hunting!
