I remember reading about 2 months ago Dr. Bob posting something about a boss multi-effect pedal that underwent significant circuit/design changes that made the newer ones sound different/worse than the older ones.
have been getting a handful of pedal questions on another forum i post on and i was wondering if anyone knew offhand which multi's underwent changes and when it happened as i'm curious and i may decide to pick one up to stash at my gf's (my board is occupying too much space).
We did once compare two versions of the SE-50 and discovered major differences. That was probably 2 years ago and probably not the thread you're thinking about.
