I mentioned it in the Merry Christmas thread but I'm afraid it could get lost between all the xmas wishes so I've decided to create another thread.

As a xmas present from me and Dr.Bob I've set up a catalog area. So far there's scans of the 1980 and 1984 catalogues as well as a DSD-2 advert and the 1993 M-EX catalogue. More will be added later.

I have quite a few ads from the eighties. After the new year
I'll try to access a scanner. What would be the best way to send them? E-mail to bossarea with an attachment? Or make a list so there isn't a lot of duplication? I have a cartoon one for the HM-2 with a giant robot running amok in a city with his guitar plugged into the output of the pedal, similar to the DSD-2 ad.

bossFan, I am truly flattered that you think that I can remember each one of the nearly 31,000 posts on this site, but I am sad to inform you that I cannot. If you want to flame for that, on Christmas day, I am sure that's your perogative.
As for your link, it leads to a bad gateway, so I was only trying to help.
Please have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Greatings, pedals 4 pv.
I never said or imply that you should remember all of those -as you say- nearly 31,000 posts.
And i surely dont want or try to "flame" with you or anybody. I was just pointing out, with a joke, one of my posts that included the Boss advert of the HM-2, and send you that "link".(by the way, it works with me).I believe i was misunderstood, maybe its the civilization gap, i dont know.
Anyway, thanks for the help, and have a Very Happy New Year..

-(by the way, nice pedal collection you have)-

Some updates to the catalogue section today.

- Changed the menu so the catalogue and pocket dictionary links are grouped together.
- Added the HM-2 advert scanned by Bossfan earlier.
- Added some of the current catalogues (Guide book 17, 18 and 19 + 2005 full range catalogue).

I'm starting to see things

Why is the SP-1 in the 80's catalogue so strange looking ? Look at the arrows and 'spectrum sp-1 '

Bossarea can you see if it's a real picture or is it kind of photoshopped ?

Yes, the SP-1 in the catalogue may have been a prototype.
I don't think the photo has been altered. The catalogue is from 1980 and computers weren't very capable at the time.
