I'd like to see:

1) Some sort of vintage style treble boost, though the GE-7 or SD-1 probably already fill this role.

2) Compact rotary speaker/univibe

Roland/Boss has stated several times that they're looking forward and not backwards. I think this means that they consentrate their efforts on 21st century technology and won't do any more development using analog electronics. Of course, Line 6 said the same thing before they started putting valves in their gear so who knows.
