I hope this was just a one time thing, as I am looking to pick up another one at some point...

I have one and like it very much, I got it cheap, but this is going to be a collector pedal sooner or later. They are great!

$71 for a FX52 that wasn't even in mint condition?!?

to be sure, the FX52 Classic Fuzz is a great-sounding pedal (large Muff-esque tone), but that price is just nuts. I would almost suspect shill bidding....

Its not the DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz, but the next version, the DOD FX66 Flashback Fuzz. I am curious as to whether or not these are similar or not....

The Flashback Fuzz sounds similar but has an extra tone control, this is a good Big Muff alike fuzz too, congrats!

Thanks for the heads up! Unfortunately, I hit my monthly PayPal/Credit card limit in just a few days, like I do every month, but maybe I'll bend the rules....

Just got the Flashback Fuzz today, and at least at this point, I feel that there is no need to get a back up for my Classic Fuzz, because the Flashback Fuzz is very similar. If I find a Classic for the right price, I'll probably pick it up, but right now the GAS has subsided.

For anyone looking for a fuzz, I highly recommend you look into the Flashback Fuzz, a very good fuzz for the price, and you may be pleasantly surprised.
