hello,
this is the latest incarnation of my ds-1 which is my main mod platform.
from what i hear so far, its a smoother, rounder version of the ds-1 and way louder.it sounds good too with single coils. its very simple.
D4: 1n4148 + red LED
D5: stock 1n4148
low value cap (47pf?) across D4 and d5 like the keeley SEM
the keeley SEM removes the stock D4 and replaces it with a LED. i prefer a LED in series there with the 1n4148. without the cap, the sound is a little bit midrangey. with the cap across the diodes, its like a smoother harder sound of the stock ds-1 sound.
is it like any other ds-1 mod?
