I am starting to think he has a warehouse full of old pedals...perhaps Boss-Japan had to pay off the Yakuza in pedals at some point in the past and they are now cashing in on them?

Serial number 6400 is from the first production run. Roland warranty card says 6800 though. I assume that is the serial number (can't read Japanese) so it is not actually original for this pedal.

wah pedals are so cheap now-a-days you can just set one at the voice you want and go.
shucks, it just ain't an sp-1 though.

Thousand bucks? i don't think so ... but hey, more power to him!
