Hi Guys

"wurly" (Adrian - Long time Member Aug 2006.), just PM-ed me about their new,
MySpace Band page.

Johnny Longshot
- Ska and Rocksteady Band:
http://www.myspace.com/johnnylongshotmusic

The music is pretty good,
whurly is also pretty mad keen on vintage tube gear.
Collecting - Restoring & He has even built a few low power tube amps.

As a side note -
A few years back, we actually found out, that I used to gig with a Bass Player mate of his.
But it took a chance meeting & comment here on The forum to find out,
that we had a mutual friend.

wurly has run a Sunday Jam for about the last 10 years or so.
If you're ever in Melbourne Australia - it's at the Elwood RSL.

And if you get a few minutes, please go & have a listen to the music on their page.

Regards Dr. Bob

Sounds good....has a bit of a Jimmy Cliff feel to it,i've always had a soft spot for reggae and ska,it was huge in ireland when i was growing up in the 70's and early 80's especially Bob Marley...our bass player and drummer started out in a reggae band back in the late 80's/early 90's....if i'm ever over visiting the cuz in oz i'll swing by and blow the froth off a couple..........
