Well this is what i did, unfortunately i don't have pictures of the finished product yet. but i will post the some time later. the pieces of wood costed near nothing.
Anybody got plans, pictures of how to do one. I want to angle it and drill holes to put the power lead through, I could keep all the messy daisy chains underneath :P
i drew a few designs out for mine before i started. first i figured out the order of the pedals and how far apart they would be (i tried to keep it as compact as possible). the board could have just laid flat on the ground at this point, but i intended it to be angled. next i put my power supplies under the board to see how much of an angle i needed. after this i cut the side pieces and made 3 extra to be spaced under the top board for support. finally i glued and screwed it all together and added the trim pieces on top to keep the pedals in place. i also glued rubber to the bottom to prevent it from slipping.
i don't know if this is any use to you but i made this myself out of some old plywood and some 2x1 i found in the shed...i made it in about 4/5 hours and i've been using it easily for the last two years gigging and rehearsing costantly...i glued some carpet tiles onto the base for the velcro on the back of the pdals to stick to and the row with the tremolo and delays i just cut a strip of ply to raise them up so i could reach them with my toe without hitting the first row.....
P.S there is also a matching lid for transit purposes,i don't know if thats a factor for you or is the finished board just for home use..? bryans board is pretty big and i would imagine fairly heavy if your planning on gigging/rehearsing with it.......
