| A big muff and proco rat soon, but i would like an in between solid good distortion in between them. What Boss distortion could do the trick? |

| I currently use an Md-2 seems pretty versatile, but sometimes the not fade a way in a wavey style, like a tremolo, but without any other effects engaged. |

I saw an old Rat in a box, I should have made an offer on it. |

| PW-2 will get some of those sounds, more towards the big muff fuzz side of things. |

Hi DeFrag
Boy, did you leave yourself wide open to smart ass replies with that post.
I'm sure old T.D., won't disappoint us, when he catches up his reading of the forum.
But in all seriousness, I would go back & try to get that pedal.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Hi Ollie - I've sent you a PM
I've got a short demo of the PW-2 that I recorded for a forum member a while ago - not brilliant but will give you an idea of what it sounds like. |

| It's tough to beat the overdrive sounds of an SD-1 and an OD-3 but my arsenal is not as complete as a lot of folks here. For rad fuzz sounds the FZ-2 has some great things going on, but its finest action might be in the boost mode. |

Disco stu has a point..... if your getting a rat and a big muff these are fairly dirty sounding fuzz/distortions in their own right so maybe an overdrive would be better than another distortion as it can be combined with either for even more sonic mayhem....listen to gilmour using his big muff along with a tube driver to see what i mean...he gets some great thick lead sounds using both and a little bit of delay...... |

| Yeah i have an od-3 but i was thinking of a versitile distortion, without the wavey effect my MD-2 does. |
