PS-3 all the way.
I don't own either, but I do have the PS-2 & the first Xbox and I always go with the PS-2. Haven't been on the Xbox for ages. PS controllers are a lot more comfortable and have better games (apart from Halo). |

If your going to play online, get an xBox 360. If your playing yourself, get a PS3. Actually, just get an xBox 360. I've had mine since they were released in the UK and never had an issue. |

| i mean the xbox 360 is cheaper.but weighing the pros and cons the ps3 seems like a better deal. you get blue ray wifi internet and no charge to get online. they got the 360 arcade but has no hard drive. doe that make the diffrence.what do these system use the hard drive for anyway |

Both 360 and PS3 have hard drives? Apparently PS3's not as good as xBox for online. xBox is 40 for a year. Less than eleven pence a day. (Dunno what in dollar-y-doos?) Not really bank breaking though? A few of my friends have both. One buys all online games for xBox, and one players for PS3. The rest use PS3 as a blue ray player, and buy pretty much all games for 360. When it comes to blue ray, I'm just not prepared to pay 20 for a movie so I can see how bad an actors complexion is when I can buy the same movie for less than a 10 on regular DVD. Maybe I'm tight? Those extra pixels don't enhance my enjoyment enough to warrant the cost. ANd are you 1080p'd up, or are you intending getting 1080p any time soon? On the PS3 side, if you must go wi-fi, then the xBox adapter is a complete rip off. I have my router in the same room as my xBox, and got it main lined, so no issue for me. Apparently there is not any real plans to replace either system for quite some time. They've hit a plateau on the technology, and these have got another 5 to 10 years in them. I will add that I do not know this if this is FACT, but if it's true, which ever you get you'll be able to enjoy it for a while. Oh, and if you get a 360, I'll be able to kick your ass at Call of Duty..............or not, as I'm rubbish at it, but love it. |

| PS-3. Remember, it's also a blu-ray player. Uncharted 2 comes out this winter! |

| Cost alone is good enough reason for me to stick with the 360. Everything else is already too much. Like DasBeef said, why would I want to spend so much money on Blu Rays when it doesn't make that much of a difference to me? PS3s are nice, but I don't know that they are worth what they ask for them. |

+1
A good PC is more versatile than any game console will be + you don't have to pay when you play online (I guess all of you have an internet connection ) |

my PS-3 was a bachelor party present.. I had no intentions of owning a game system again. Bad for my studies and bad for my music. But I am glad for the blu-ray player - with the right TV it's definitely worth it. |
