I aint sold anything in the bargain pages for years... Infact the last thing I did was my old squire-strat package like 6 years ago. Is it a decent place to list gear? Was thinking of throwing an add in there for my GT8

Thanks

Not familiar with that page. I regularly check Gumtree. Let's you search by area.

Bargain Pages has different papers for different areas. I just went through it, made an account. The ad is free to publish for a week so I just went for it

http://www.bargainpages.co.uk/AdView.aspx?Advert=2922214

It should be published this week/next week in the paper. Either way at that price I dont think I'll hold onto it long. For similar money you cant even get a DD7 The ad looks okay right? Idk why I mentioned the scratches tbh they're barely visable

I've used gumtree in the past to sell stuff..i sold our old van within three days of posting on gumtree in Dublin...always got good responses...

P.S. one thing i've noticed here in the Dublin ads/music gear section is that a lot of people don't(or won't) accept that cash is in short supply so you have to be realistic in pricing and willingness to haggle...obviously we all have our rock bottom we won't go below but i've seen guys here selling identical amps and a difference of maybe 150/200 euro in the asking price......i've also seen ads with stuff that i've been keeping an eye on still there months later because obviously the seller won't budge on the asking price...

I got my GT-8 up at a rather cheap price, and I did have a trade offer for a 26" HD Sony TV which was nice, but nah I have an ad coming in the West Midlands bargain pages tommorow hopefully. Will buy it to have a look anyway! Also tryna shift an old Yamaha keyboard that cost me 100~ back in 2005. Upgraded it since and tbh forgot I had it lol. If I could raise 200+ from my GT8, Old Amp + Keyboard that'd go towards a Nova delay or something nice.

Although I'm relluctant to put the other two up on Gumtree until my GT-8 has sold Thanks for the tip !
