I need a nice home for a Bond CR-1 Chorus circuit board. From what I can tell this is a copy of the Boss CE-2 installed in a crappy plastic case. I`m looking for any Boss enclosure that was made in Japan with the wide cutout for the power jack. Ideally a CE-2 enclosure but any model will do if it has only two holes for pots, and one output jack hole.
Oh yeah, I'm also looking for an original Boss switch to put in the PR-1R phaser I restored a few weeks back.
I can pay by PayPal, Money Order, or Certified Check
Anybody got any spare parts from some wrecks?

Hi Chappy - good luck on finding a BOSS case - no matter how anyone feels about other things their near-indestructability is legendary!
What part of CA you from? |

Ok I just checked it's a MIJ and it still has the switch in it for your ph-1r and I also have a Dixon box which is a direct knock off of a Boss box, it's metal and has all it's guts. I you want picks on anything let me know. p.s. I'm in Whitby Ontario P.P.s I have an ph-1r if you need pics of whatever.

| A Mit SD-1 will do the trick too, it has the long cut out in it too. |

I`m currently living in Chicoutimi Quebec, but I`ve lived in every province West of here over the last 17 years! I just missed out on 4 Boss cases by a few days on the DIYStompbox forum.

Thanks for the quick reply. I`ll take both of those boxes if the price is right. I already have some Hammond empty shells, I just thought it would be nice to put a Boss board back into a Boss case, and I need the switch. I don`t need any pics of the phaser pedal. I already had some great help from ChristoMephisto.

What I do still need however is the value of the three pots in the PH1R phaser or the serial numbers if you can read those on your pedal.
Shoot me an Email with some pics, and your thoughts on the price.

Sorry for the delay, you can contact me privately or give me a few days. I really don't know what and empty case is worth or a broken/opened dixon is worth. Maybe we can trade, I am always looking to add to my collection.I really have no use for it and to be honest I don't know why I bought it,( come to think of it the're from the same guy!!)I think I paid $30.00 CDN plus shipping so whatever. I will take my ph1-r apart to see about the pots and I'll get back too you. Gord.

Thanks CM
I almost had it right with the PT 909 schematic. I had the same pots for the Depth and Res, but the 909 called for a 500k vice 1M for the speed control .
I only had a quick look, but I'm willing to bet that the Ibanez circuit is pretty close to the PH-1r circuit.

Not too much anymore. I checked the measurements of the Bond pedal and although its a knockoff of the Boss design, its bigger. The circuit board will not fit into a regular Boss enclosure. If the CE-2 is slightly wider than the rest of the Boss pedals then I'm still Ok. In that case probably $15-20 max. Right now my plan is to put it into a Hammond case that I have.
