I'm a bass player.
I don't like playing guitar...
BUT
I do love the Telecaster look and sound and feeling...
and never really had the money for a Fender Tele...
lucky me : yesterday I found a used one, like-new, TELECASTER 60'S REISSUE OLYMPIC WHITE for 300 euros !!! 
Now I'll write and play blues, with that wonderfull lady :
I thought I would prefer mapple fingerboard but the rosewood fingerboard is cool.

Telecaster is THE electric guitar, it took me many years to realise it, there is just what you need on a Tele, nothing fancy.

| by the way, I actually paid 349 euros because the Tele was sold with a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag Strat/Tele and a leather strap... taht's why I said the Tele cost me 300. |

| I was reading a post on a website by one of the guys out of mark knopflers band who had bought a mexican strat for his nephew and he asked mark to try it out...seemingly mark was very impressed with the level of quality and the sound of it......your in good company bro'.............. |

nice find, i personally love telecasters too and have told myself that i won't get a strat til my tele is nice and beat up.
i can definitely tell you're a bass player at heart, that's some mean strumming and plucking on your tele. the audio in the vid breaks up past 1 minute or so, but otherwise nice playing and i'm sure it will only get better as time goes on! |
