The ones you do not like that much, and rather just keep for sake of the collection.
Cannot think of any one really. There are a lot of them I hardly use, then there are the duplicates where some of them do sound better than others, still I keep hold of the duplicates.
From time to time I go back to pedals I do not use that much, get suprised by how good [or bad...........] they sound really. HM2 is one of them. Did like it in the very beginning, than was not used for long long time, now I think it is one of those pedals which can offer something special for when you need it.
The filterpedals are nice, but do not use them too much. They are really "productionpedals" to add a special vibe to a part in a recording.
Overal I have a liking for the first and second issue pedals, because they offer just one sound, and are good at it, but then I do use the LS2 daily, because it is such a versatile tool!!
Do not have much interest in the pedals which came out since the last two years [apart from the RC2] as they offer sounds which I already can access in some kind of way---either through an amp or another pedal----. No need to bang on about this eh? as most of you know how we feel about some of the newer pedals. |

Yeah, I have one of those old chrome Morley PWB pedals, you know the Cliff Burton type wah. It doesn't sound that good cause the LDR positioning is a little messed up and it sucks a lot of tone in general, but I don't want to lose it because it's kind of a collectors item.
I also have a newer type Morley dual bass wah, but I almost never use wah on bass or guitar anymore. It's just a too good pedal to get rid of.
Then I have a behringer tremolo, the TR-2 clone, which was so cheap that tossing it away would be more expensive than keeping it. I like tremolo but this one eats a lot of sound so I keep it in the closet. |

Lots of them. I´m actually try to sell 25 of them. You get old and you start realising that you don´t need all that stuff, but you need money hehe. But I´ll still keep 9 of the up-to-now useless ones. Cheers. |

HM-2,CH-1,DS-1,PH2 and my FZ-3 all currently residing in my spare room with the rest of my gear(OD-2 comes in the guitar case as a spare overdrive with the GE-7 which is used for mandolin and acoustic guitar) but i'm not even thinking of selling them as the BF-2 was sitting with them up till a couple of weeks ago and now it's back..... might decide i want the phaser instead next week......so it's good to be able to put your hands on them..... might even make up a smaller 'board for rehearsing...... |

I can't say that my DN-2 Dyna Drive is useless, I use it for a paperweight. |

| I guess I've got about a 100 pedals I don't use. Everything included, I've got around 120 pedals. I change things around but there's a lot that's only used maybe once every couple of years. It does seem like an awful waste and I'm not proud of it but I guess it comes with the territory of collecting. Sometimes I just hoard stuff without actually planning to use it. |

I have quite a few of them as well, and I can see what you are saying about the "waste" Bossarea, but then there is the collecting issue and I feel the more pedals you have the better you know which ones are good, have a vibe and which are just not that great.
Did get into the pedals of mainly recording, the more pedals the varied you can make your sound. Is this true? Of course not, just an excuse to try more pedals!!
It still would be good to get a Bossmeeting going, something like a conference, where we could demonstrate how certain people use certain pedals for particular sounds [sharing all those little tone-secrets...........] |

| I don't use my Boss Noise Gate pedal at all, and have been thinking about selling that, but just never get around to doing it cause I just like having it even though I don't use it for some reason... |

As Bossarea I have around 100 that I seldom use, but I fire them up once in a while to keep the electrolytics happy. I know collecting is a bit stupid, but I´m glad I´m not collecting stamps, not much you can do with them |

I have a couple, but none are Boss Pedals as they have use when i need them.
The ones i dont use much are:
Digitech X-Series Multi Chorus (Boss CH-1 and CE-2 replaced that one) MXR ZW-44 Zakk Wylde Overdrive (Boss SD-1, OD-3 and Ibanez TS9 replaced that one) EHX LPB-1 (MXR CAE MC-401 Boost/Linedriver replaced that one)
However, i can see there being a thinning down of those 3 ones i dont use to 1, as the Zakk Wylde OD dosnt work, its packed up, went to meet its maker!!! |

I have a few I don't use. See for example my for sale thread. There are some duplicates I don't use but hold on to because they are very rare. I am trying to scale back my collection to just the vintage pedals or ones that get regular use. The newer ones that were sitting around unused were too much of a waste. |

Sad to say but it's my old CS-2. As I've wrote several times I've bought it just to raise volume during my few solos in the 80s (the other guitarist bought it too) extablishing the "Whistles Celebration".
But then (and now) I don't need it anymore, so it's still in my PeeBee (Pedal Board) just why it's a good piece of collection (March 1984) and has a good colour (I like the blues: purple it's my prefered colour), but I don't use it anymore.
I thaught to use it in a song that has a guitar the remember those Reagge-Police style but I've to find the good sound and it's another topic argument. |
