hello there. i just got my BD-2 today off ebay. i know that the seller is into DIY modding. i opened it up and noticed something different. attached to the pots there are little diagonal boards. one small one connected to the gain knob, and one larger one connected to the level and tone. they are standing on end and diagonal. i wish i had a digital camera to take a shot. is anyone elses BD-2 like this, or has mine been tampered with? i swear my friends BD-2 sounded different.
^^i opened my other 3 knobbers to see if they had the "diagonal board" but none of them did. i should also mention the BD-2 was made in November 95. one of the earlier BD-2s.
I opened up mine and it has the same two diagonally placed boards. I haven't seen this design before but I opened up my OD-3 as well and it has the same diagonal boards so I guess it's not that unique.
