Hi all....i want to make a A/B box for my rig ...i'm already using a LS2 for looping some of my pedals and i think a second one would be overkill for what i want....my amps don't have any effects loops and i want to keep my dynacord unit out of my signal chain when not in use but keep it's stereo effect..my amps have two inputs on each channel like all the old amps do so i was gonna plug the unit into the spare channel on each amp and run a lead from an A/B box from the floor so i can 'bypass' it when i don't need it....so the question is ..how hard is it to make one of these devices....?? thanks....

Hi FRANZONI

Do a search in the G lots ooooooo's site for:

AB box Schematic or something similar,
there are lots out there in that big grey cloud, called the net.

It an easy thing to build if you do that all mechanical DPDT switch type.

If I get a chance later, Ill go have a look for you.

if you want indicators (LED's) and other fancy impedance buffers then it get a bit harder.

Type General Guitar gadgets and similar places.

Hey Franz, here's a circuit I designed that is a step up from the simplest A/B if you want a couple more features:

Maybe Bob can correct any glaring problems if any.
