well, i liked the xt-2. :) actually, it's the 2nd boss distortion pedal i like after the mz-2. i use it mainly on metallica riffs with the help of the EH-2. :)

I actually liked the approach Boss used in designing the controls for the XT-2 and, I think it is similar to the PW-2 Power Driver. It's a little awkward compared to the straight ahead method on most pedals (level, tone, distortion/drive), but I did think the XT-2 was much much more useable than say an HM-2. The RED metallic case and short production run will likely make this unit a hard-2-come by in a few years, so keep yours clean!!!

The EH-2, LM-2 are GREAT pedals for basic thickening and clarity;
