And as for The_Doc Daughter's singing & voice, "Stunning", it the only word that comes to mind.
That girl has the potential to go such a long way, & should be encouraged as much as humanly possible. Not to mention she has a fine guitarist/musical dad. Who also owns a half decent home project studio.
Hi Dr. Bob and thanks for those comments - Claire is really made up to hear that! It's tricky with girls of that age as many of them seem to want to be the next X-Factor winner or something like that (recognising DasBeef's inspired thread on that very subject ), but that's not what she wants
She's happier singing with bands and I think she would love to sing jazz or blues stuff and that's good to hear from her. I don't push her but I guess enough exposure to Jimmy Page, Gary More, Hendrix, Rory Gallagher and so on has got to get to her eventually Her most listened to at the moment is John Mayer - I can live with that - a great blues player.
Should that Daisy Rock get a belting on stage I promise to make sure I get some photos and post them here - I'll also post the best of the verbal abuse that I'm very likely to get - especially from our drummer - well he is called 'Moon' and like his namesake he 'aint subtle
