Hey everyone.
Someone I know has a Eminar 100 watt head, and they want to sell it.
I had a look around on the net and apparently these were made in the 70s in Melbourne Australia. (My hometown)
And apparently these are the ducks guts, the real deal, the beez neez.
He has it at a techs house at the moment, it needs a new switch and valves apparently.
Has any one got ANY info on these amps?
Have you ever played one?
Any info is much appreciated because I will be buying this.

Dr.Bob, can you help? =P

Cheers everyone!
Jake

Hi hateandwar
Laurie & I were chatting about these over breakfast this morning.
We both remember them, but only in Solid State,
- neither of us could actually remember any Eminar Heads that were Tube based.

I gigged a few Eminar Amps back in the 70's & very early 80's
They were all SS.

Any chance you can get a few pics of it, front & back, & insides?
If it is a tube head, it probably use KT88's in the output stage.
Depending on how powerful it is.

There were only a few people making amps here in Oz in those days.
I typically remember gigging
Strauss & Moody tube Amps back then.

Regards Dr. Bob

Were the amps covered in denim with white stitching...and had some 'emotional issues'..........

No I don't know what it looks like yet.
If this thing sounds awesome im getting it. I don't give a #$@ if its not an orange or a marshall or a fender.
I can't afford those anyway.
I don't really care what it looks like either.
