Can't sign in to eBay Australia. The actual site's fine but the sign in page won't load!
Wonder how many times this happens, on other international eBay sites as well? |

Actually can't sign in to ebay.com either (US).
Wonder if it's just me - although every other site I visit is fine. Including the other eBay pages. |

Worked fine a few minutes after. Not sure what was wrong. Must have been my machine.
Nice one RRV-10!
I must say, I got mine for free! Mint with mint box/manual too. From an old friend who didn't want it anymore!!! He's one who doesn't need the money though so his "fortune" is my "fortune", so to speak. |

Don't you mean $130? (including postage) OK, now I'm just being a smart-a#%e...
MXR Phase 90 (original 70s script logo), Roland AP-2, Roland AP-5, BOSS CE-1. All FREE! Seriously
Another mate of mine.
He's also got a very expensive vintage strat and amp so he reckons it's enough for him. I know some really generous guys. I now make him coffees for the rest of his life as he won't let me pay him anything for them (I make a really nice espresso!) |

Yeah. I asked if he'd take $20, which is still more than enough, but he rather smugly responded that I'd agreed to $30 and he wasn't budging, so I paid via echeque rather than direct deposit . Still, I've seen these go for pretty high without box, and if it's in the condition he claims then I think there's a profit to be had, even factoring the crazy shipping.
Shit! The most any friend of mine has ever given me is one of the several packets of strings he shoplifted about 10 years ago.
Rest assured I will never gloat again *slinks away under some rock* |

Thanks Bob. Not to worry - I picked up the CS-2 from the seller's house and the guy had heaps of expensive pedals lying around, including a Maxon AD999 (he replaced it with a Fulltone Tape Echo ), that I got dibs on before it went on ebay. I'm picking it up tonight for $300. Not a spectacular deal, but that's about what a 300ms DM-2 is going for and this baby is mint and will do 900ms of analog delay. It'll definitely hold its value (actually, I think you might be able to squeeze $20-50 more out of it) if I should ever feel inclined to sell later on.
Because I hadn't budgeted for a $300 drop to my bank account I threw the CS-2 on ebay this morning - it's off to Italy tomorrow. IMO the LM-2 is better. The CS-2 seems to 'warm' the signal where the LM-2 is more neutral (clips the peaks only). CS-2 is pretty good though - not noisy at all unless the sustain is maxed out. |
