Hey everyone, im looking for these 2 pedals, mainly because they are kind of odd and i would love to add them to my (small) collection. Im not in a rush to find them, but i will post back on this if i find one. Im not too concerned if there is no box or manual, just good working condition. I also use paypal. Cheers, Jake.

Hi hateandwar

I've called these pedals part of my "Eccentric Collection"
Because of their unusual or odd personalities...

Regards Dr. Bob

PS hateandwar, who is the girl in your Avatar?
I have seen that pic somewhere before, & what's she covered in?

That picture my friend is an album cover of Converge, the album is Jane Doe. Im not sure who the girl is or what shes covered in though!

Hi hateandwar

The MZ-2:
I had a love hate relationship with this pedal, but now own two of them.
And we won't talk about the past...
They have a huge sound, and are a completely different beast, in a stereo setup.
Try it out When you get one, & see for yourself self, same goes for the CE-3 chorus in stereo.
DON"T run the MZ-2 off a battery, it eats batteries for breakfast, at the rate of one every 15 or so minutes.

It has a lot of good settings in lower drive area as well.
---

The XT-2:
Boss's Marketing division were completely off the ball,
when they did the marketing campaign for this pedal.

Get one play with it heaps,
You will probably hate it at first, until you find the secret settings.
There's a bunch of threads already here about the XT-2.
And it has quite a few followers who might chime in with their opinions.

The controls on the XT-2 can be highly interactive, & can be a bitch to set.
On max settings it's a bit too insane for my likings, well for now at least.

If you feel like an afternoon of absolute insanity, run both together,
then call me from the hospital for a chat...

Regards Dr. Bob

Hi hateandwar

Here is one of the old XT-2 links I just found - it's 3 pages long,
and has some good tips in it.

Just saw on Ebay 2 XT-2 pedals that sold within hours of each other. One went for just over $60 AUD and the other for over $100.

I bought one for $65 a few months ago but have seen them go for double that before... definitely a pedal that's worth waiting for the right price.
