According to the Gibson serial decoder it has a production date of July 19th. 2005 Les Paul Custom made in Tennesse.
BUT, and I'm gonna come clean here.... It's not a real Gibson but a really fine made repoduction (copy).
Beautiful five layer bindings, great inlays, set neck, mahogony body with a carved flame maple top, Grover tuners.
I was looking for a set neck LP style git for a project and I came accross this lil' beauty for under $300 plus shipping and I just couldn' say NO.
I'm gonna replase all the electronics and hardware with actual Gibson stuff even though it allready sounds great |

Sometimes "copied" guitars can be just as nice (or even nicer) and way less pricey than the real deal. |

Thats why I was able to amass 9 Teles by going with Squier, SX, and Douglas...For what I paid for those 9, I could have bought 1 American Standard Tele  |

I think they must know how the decoder works or, they just got lucky but I doubt it.

I'm not sure, something funky is goin' on with the controls but I haven't cut into her backside yet to see what's at play. It is truly a tonal & sustainiac beast though. I think my other guitars have become jealous.
