Isn't that the companion to the FA-1...? You rarely see either of them up for sale.

There is of course a small blurb on it here http://www.bossarea.com/other/ma1.asp
I once tried a MA-1 and it was rubbish. The speaker is about the size of a phone speaker and sounds similar too. |

That FA-1 is going to go for big bucks -- association with Edge will drive the bidding there...

Between an original MXR Micro Amp, a Morley Volume Boost, a PQ-4, and a BD-2, I think I've got enough clean boost now... but I'll bet that the additional tweakability of the FA-1 comes in handy.

There is a really cool practice headphone amp that boss made, included distortion, delay, and chorus effects, I think had 2 inputs so you could jam on the tour bus while everyone else was passed out.
Saw one on eBay few months back, went cheap, around $40.
Was based I think on this and FA-1, but was really cool.
I'll bet these all make great pre-amps. |

Wouldn't you just want one for that Phone speaker sound...???!!!....................instant "Wish You Were Here" , no messing with mikes and set-ups, no just plug into this baby and....................vrooooom, let the notes take you away to another world............... |

| I agree, I rather like the MA-1 for that real classic rock/ripped speaker kinda sound. |
