Nice. I'd like a real tape echo some day... the RE-20's the closest I'm likely to get for a while.

Great find!

I'd love a tape echo unit also, although I don't know the first thing about how they work.

Thanks guys! This will be a winter project - clean and align the tape transport and heads, replace the tape, dismantle and clean all the switches, etc. I think it will be a definite keeper when it's done.

I feel like I paid too much for it (US$240) but I think that's only because I'm used to pedals for a lot less than that. It was actually an OK deal ;-)

That was a great deal..any of these that have come up locally in Dublin were in the €450/500 bracket........

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around all the different compact pedals. Let alone more moving parts like in a tape delay. That looks like a sweet snag though.

If it's working properly(no major issues) $240 for a 301 is a steal.

Just an o.k. deal?
That's a SUPER steal!

Used to use one live in the 90's.
Real tape echo is just...the best.

That thing could be a real pain
in the ass sometimes though too.

Killer deal...congratulations.

Hey lovely machine, here's my 501 with a rather obscure DC-50 on top. There's no digital echo quite like these babies.

In the UK 201s, 301s and 501s go for anything between £350-£650. i got my 501 for £375 a few years ago. i love my 501 but the 301 and 201 look sexier.
