Hello everyone...

I have a problem with my MT-2 and BD-2. Dist works fine but when switching to clean, it sounds good at first but after 1 or 2 seconds the clean sound fades away and when strumming hard, the clean sound tends is distort. Same problem MT2 and DB-2. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi max
Welcome to the forum from Australia.

You didn't mention if you are running your pedals from batteries or a
power adapter.

If it's batteries - perhaps your batteries are starting to go flat.
I have seen this happen with flat batteries, & out of spec power supplies.

Have you tested them with KNOWN GOOD batteries?

And if you are running them from a power adapter,
what type/brand is it?

You also didn't mention if your guitar has Single coils or Humbucker pickups.

Regards Dr. Bob

First try the pedals with fresh batteries - if they work properly, its most likely the adapter that isn't up to par. Try them with a Boss PSA adapter (you can bring them into a music store and ask to try one) - no-name adapters that aren't specifically designed for audio equipment can get both noisy and act weird.
