I�ve re-read this book by Forrest White, and it�s about the best book I�ve read on Fender.
I believe that Forrest tells the truth of many not known facts, as who made what in the development of the Stratocaster.
You also get a very personal description of Leo Fender, filled with love for the person and also some of Leo�s not-so-good sides.

+1... probably my favorite Fender book, and well worth your time and money.

Have it......Mrs F got it for me for Christmas or a birthday a few years back.....but it's a long time since i read it... i think Forrest might of went to Musicman with Leo afterwards.....?....
