I'm looking at getting a TW-1 but the toggle switch crackles when you move it between the up and down settings. It works fine when it's set, but when you move it it makes noise. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace this switch. Maybe I should try some contact cleaner first? Thanks!

Just replace it. It is a fairly standard SPDT switch. Pull the old one out and take to the electronics store to check size...

Cool, glad to hear. I was worried that it was some Boss specific part that hasn't been made in 20 years. Once again, thanks for the advice Laurie!

Try with contact cleaner first, it will probably fix the problem.

I would go to the local electronics store and get contact cleaner before you try and put a new switch in it.
