this is my first attempt at building a solid body e/a strat sounds great plays ok

if you're interested in how I built it...check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP1opVT-Jh0
2nd try with better parts, sounds and plays very nice

this one I built with a tremolo, just a little something I dreamed up

this is my '85 Charvel model 1 I think

this is a SRV Fendar strat I built from parts I got on ebay

this is a gold sparkle fat strat I'm working on, sort of a right handed Dick Dale tribute guitar I guess

my Yamaha GR 730s, picked it up to bang around at the beach, no electronics

this is one of my main gigging guitars, 1992 washburn SBF-80 solid body e/a, love it!

this is a 1990 washburn SBF-24, one of my old gigging guitars that I am in the progress of installing a single coil pup into

this is also one of my main giggers, washburn SBT-21 solid body e/a beautiful sounding axe

and last but not least.. this is a semi hollow body 12 string with an epiphone texan neck. I built the body from scratch, my main gigger and my baby!!!

if you're interested in how I built it...check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlahK0MQxFU |

From back to front
Chevy Bass - and that's all I know about it.
Gibson "The Paul" made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA October 23rd, 1978 Production Number: 131
Fender "Telecaster"(Humbucker in the NP and a 5-way switch) was assembled at the Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico in the Year: 1995
Charvel Surfcaster early nineties model in candy apple red.
In the Acoustic section there's a
12 stringed Quintus which was my main guitar for the last few years when I was just playing acoustics
and an Epiphone mandoline
no pictures at this time |

I got a slight Telecaster problem...
Here's the new pickguard on the one on the far right:
Here's one that I got after the group photo:
 Here's another:
 Here's 3 more:
And I actually have Telecaster #9 on its way, a Butterscotch blond SX Tele, and if its routed right, then I will possibly do a Hot Rod '52 conversion on that one with a mini humbucker in the neck position |

Hi MullyFX
That really is a sweet looking Charvel Surfcaster I know I have written to you before about it.
ow that you have owned it for a little while, does it play & sound as good as you remembered-expected?
You can't really tell you like candy apple red-red guitars...
You didn't mention the the name of your Puppy, in the last picture? And what? no pic of your G/F..
Regards Dr. Bob

yeah the surfcaster is my new baby.... just looking at it is amazing... but playing is soooo great as well... just one thing bothers me... it sounds superb with just the spring reverb in between - no need for any BOSS (or other) pedal inbetween....
so it's not a pedal friendly guitar - but doesn't need to be as well
the dog's name is Linus ....it's not mine though (well at least not technically)
and the "G/F" said she wants to see pics of you before she allows posting pics of her ;) |

Nice instruments so far guys!!!
TKO Ken - nice looking builds!!!
DeFrag - I've always wanted a Ricky, let alone a "V".
pedals 4 pv - nice lot, love the Vox.
FRANZONI - cool bunch, don't see many Yamahas anymore.
MullyFX - awesome, love your Tele & the Surfcaster.
Jack - I'll help you storm the Fender factory of your choice or glady drive you to rehab. I'm glad you own "a few" non-Fender items.

Main bass, Fender USA P-bass with Seymour Duncan 1/4pound PU and Hipshot Detuner.

My old bass, Samick P-bass copy, also with 1/4pound PU and detuner.

My guitar, Custom (Ibanez daughter) Les Paul with Sey/Dun alnico 2pro's, in the pic it still has the Dimarzio's.

My acoustic, a lowbudget Stagg which sounds decent with a good set of strings.
