I am trying to fix the volume issues on an MT-2 for a friend of mine. Here's whats happening: When the bass is more than about 75% of the way up, and there is a decent amount of distortion, the volume sounds like an overcompensating compressor. It gets pretty quiet and then comes back up to normal volume. This takes about a full second and a half. I lowered the value of the output capacitor (C1). It didn't change anything. I've seen other pedals that can begin to oscillate a little if the output cap is made too large when trying to increase bass output. Its a 1996 model according to the serial number tool here on the forum. Has anyone else experienced this?
