Whitch compactpedals do you choose to cover all kind of music if you must have just a few like 5 to 8 pedals? Is it TU-2, RV-3,DD-3,CE-2, HM-2, ML-2 and CS-2 like me? Regards faltarn.

My tightest perfomance rig, if I have a vintage-style Fender amp with reverb, would be guitar > SD-2 > amp. I have done gigs with this type of setup, but adding a couple of more pedals are not a bad idea.

For me it would be Guitar -> modded SD-1 -> amp w/ DD-3 in the loop.

I don't need external distortion or crazy effects , let alone a tuner in the signal path.

Well, Guitar > Wah > CS-3 > SD-2 > DS-2 > MT-2 > BF-3 > PDS-200 (digitech's), that's using only the pedals I own.

+1. That's pretty much the do-it-all compact guitar rig right there.

Of course, to get "my" sound, I'd need to add a CE-2 and a BF-2, and a TR-2 would be nice, and a tuner, ad n pretty soon, I'm back at my current 8-pedal board.

Guitar > OS2 > Sansamp DI Box > DD20
No amps!!!!

Should cover most things.

If I need anything extra I'll add a volume pedal, tuner and chorus/flanger.
