...Most popular boss effects, in terms of sales???

Id ashume that the DS-1 is top, but does any one have any sales figures with the breakdowns??? Or is that too comercially senesitive???

It's just estimates based on serial numbers so it's not 100% accurate. It could very well be that my DS-1 number is a couple of hundred thousand too few

i would have guessed DS-1 and MT-2 to be #1 and #2.

everyone wants a cheap distortion pedal.
angry 16 year olds wanna shred.

if those figure estimates are accurate i would say that is a very good display of the exponential growth of guitar playing as a hobby as well as what pedals boss has made available over the past 15 years.

The DS-1 was certainly seen everywhere back in the day. The SD-1 well .....Every guy I ever saw way back then with a Tubescreamer also had a yellow Boss pedal , if memory doesnt play tricks on me

I can answer the question for the Ebay (UK) second-hand market, since October 2007.

(Where the graph says 'mostly' UK, it's because I've included some world-wide sales where the rarer pedals are concerned).
