i didnt mean to imply that setting four after the trimpot twiddling reulted in something too extreme..far from it actually.
i dig the sound totally and look forward to using this setting on the next recording.
really, i guess i like the mod because it makes it sound more like a 'gritty' ce 2(with stereo). hi fi and guitar sounds for me dont go together at all. the dc 2 pedal in stock form is i beleive very hi fi ish.
it is my firm belief that this dc 2 pedal will one day be an absolute classic collectible and player desirable pedal. thankfully, this tampering only enhances the effect. it seems for some reason that most left the factory with a 'weak' setting.
