I am torn between these two. Mr Springgy is smaller, somewhat cheaper. Opinions?

The Solemate HAS a conventional pan reverb inside & sounds all of analogue goodness.
I'm quite satisfied with the unit.

Mr. Springy does not have a real pan reverb inside & emulates the sound with electronics.
I've not played with a Mr. Springy but think its better than the Boss RV-5 which I found to be harsh sounding.

Of course, the Fender '63 Tube Reverb is pricey, but it could very well be the best outboard 'verb available.

I had a reverb question a while back and these options came up..ordering from the states can be a bit of a bummer here in ireland for extra import taxes.....but i did look at those two options....the soulmate looks great and probably the way i would lean if i had the real estate to spare on my board... but i'm not sure it's very practical for constant gigging ...i.e pedalboards being thrown in and out of vans etc..being a real spring reverb....

The mr springgy has got some good reviews but the only thing that put me off was the guy who makes them is said to cover the internals in some sort of goo to stop people copying the design..ok until you need to repair something down the line.....

The new Digitech RV-7 hardwire pedal is supposed to be quite good and has stereo options....might be worth checking out....

Ok, sorry to cut the debate short, but I just bought a Mr.Springgy. I found one where the price was way too good to pass on.
