Today is the last day of my twenties, as tomorrow I turn 30. Anything I should do today?
Tomorrow I shall be....
Buying clothes for comfort, instead of style
Using the phrase, 'I remember in my day....' a lot
Shaking my fist at kids who kick their football into my garden
Hunting down a comfortable pair of slippers I can wear to the newsagents on a Sunday
Complaining that the music is 'too loud!!!'
Stopping drinking in the pubs that the 'Young folk' go to |

Write a new song & record it, to remember the day in a positive way.
That's what I did. 
Don't forget to take you partner-wife to dinner to top off the day.
And play some really loud guitar.

Oh and cheer up will ya, turning 30 ain't that bad, it happened to me last year and it was a nice thing to see that my scumbag friends  put a sign in the frontlawn saying I turned 30 so that the whole village could see it and be happy with me

Nothing to be concerned about about mate - it's the transition into your 40's that you need to worry about 
and...then there's your 50's
...must be all downhill from tomorrow then!

Thanks guys. As it is now 0119hrs as I type this, I am now officially 30 years of age, and boy am I going to get drunk tonight.....
Also, I just realised that this is my 300th post! I think that means even more beer tonight! |
